Belton Real Estate

Belton is a quaint town of 21,734 people according to the 2017 census, with a 37.6% population increase since 2000. It is situated in the heart of Texas on Interstate 35 corridor, nestled between Waco and Austin. Being only 55 miles south of Austin, and 126 miles from Dallas, residents are able to enjoy small town living while still close enough to city life that they won’t feel like they’re missing out!

Winters are notably short and mild, while summers are hot and sometimes humid.  However, the spring and fall have comfortable temperatures that generally linger in the 80’s allowing the possibility of outdoor adventures almost year round.

Belton hosts the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, which is a private Christian university that enrolls over 3900 students from 31 foreign countries.

Many locals find themselves enjoying water sports such as fishing, jet skiing, water skiing, tubing, and paddle boarding at one of the 2 major lakes: Stillhouse Hollow Lake or Belton Lake.  While others prefer the hiking trails, creeks, and rivers that stretch throughout Belton. Enjoy the sunshine in one of the 13 parks and recreational areas, get a bird’s eye view of the lakes from the lookout points, tour Bell County museum, or enjoy local restaurants and shopping in the wonderful town of Belton.

Belton is also home to the Bell County Expo Center which showcases many artists, musicians, festivals, rodeos (a must see!), and Comic-Con.  You won’t have to travel far for entertainment!
